Collaboration requires leadership.  It is the opposite of competition.  To collaborate means to work together and create something.  Collaborating is to produce and is at it's best when it's not polite.  Being aware of weakness, accepting it, challenging it, and camouflaging it is the art of collaboration.

The color Cayenne was chosen for the Rose in the shoot as Cayenne dilates and speeds the metabolism, it is the color of attraction and momentum.

Before Imagine Gallery's 'The Artful Bride Wedding Expo,' I had the opportunity to collaborate and direct a shoot to help promote the expo with Bridal Barn and EmanPhoto.  EmanPhoto favors depth and layers.  His eye for filters is very masculine and; yet, he photographs delicate species: roses, bride's, and vegetation.  Volume and a heightened sense of outlined details are what EmanPhoto does best.

Jodi of Bridal Barn favors volume and crystal design details.  Ball gowns and fitted Trumpet silhouettes in layered textures are a staple of the Bridal Barn experience.   For the shoot we simulated EmanPhoto's eye with Jodi's best and added an off beat color of roses for the 'Gee June' touch.

25 Cayenne colored roses were laid in a half moon pattern around Loganne on the wooden floor of Bridal Barn.  25 In numerology is 7.  7  is the great seeker of Truth. It takes nothing for face value and understands that behind illusions hides reality.

Like a time warp EmanPhoto's images have a transient sense about them.  His picture's feel like time travel with a penchant for romance, and an urgency of movement.  Like a heartbeat measured by an EKG the design lines of a pulse's rhythm are blended to create his photo's.  When I look at EmanPhoto's I think that if Physics were poetry, it would look like this.  The filter's are the illusion, the reality is the woman, and the Truth are the roses as Nature's energies collaborated for them to be.

*(special Note: Following the shoot Jodi put the rose's in her window's of Bridal Barn to dry out.  Three week's later we've taken them back and currently they are being strung into a headpiece)!
