Real Bride Amanda Kathryn came to us a few months ago. Amanda is an edgy bohemian fashionista and her fiancé turned hubby is a carpenter with a penchant for hunting! Amanda's wedding themes were 'Doe and Buck' and 'Jack and Jill:' A little bit country and a little bit elegant.
For Amanda we rebuilt a wedding dress and added design details to a second wedding dress from Jim Hjlm (pictured above) to personalize her custom fit designer gown. Origami fabric folds were formed to create her gown's bustle. We customized her veil with 3-D floating flowers, made from organza and silk, in natural tones with pearls and metallic embroidery. Then we accessorized!
Wooden roses, dried leaves, tea and coffee stained flower petals, blush and cream pearls, antique lace, metallic thread, scraps from her first dress and crinkled tulle were the bulk of materials needed for The Amanda Collection.
The Amanda Collection ended up being a customized veil, a custom bride's head piece, a clutch, a bridal belt and five Bridesmaid head piece's! The below are highlighted piece's from The Amanda Collection.
